University of the Pacific is pleased to host a screening of Media X director Kevin Pontuti's recent film work. Pontuti will present three short films—ONERE, PESCARE, and VANITA— from his ongoing Poetry of Penance project that were completed between 2016-2017.

Professor Macelle Mahala—Director of the Pacific Humanities Center—will introduce the films and lead a panel discussion and Q&A with Pontuti after the screening. A reception will follow the screening and discussion. The event is free and open to the public.

The event is co-sponsored by the Pacific Humanities Center, Film Club and Media X.
